Clarification on NDA Age Limit
Number of queries is raised by NDA aspirants and their parents regarding their age limit for NDA written exam. To resolve their queries, Age limits for all NDA exams till year 2023 has been worked out and is appended as under.
It is important to remember that while applying for NDA, aspirant’s should be in between 15 ½ to 18 ½ of age. However, while joining the NDA aspirants age should be between16 ½ to 19 ½.

Important to Note
- Date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination Certificate will be accepted and no request for its change will be considered or granted.
- Once a date of birth entered in the records of the Commission for admission to an examination, no change will be allowed subsequently or at any subsequent examination on any ground.
- If on verification at any subsequent stage any variation is noticed in the date of birth from the one entered in their Matriculation or equivalent Examination certificate, disciplinary action will be taken against defaulter by the Commission under relevant Rules.
