Combined Defence Services (CDS)
Combined Defence Service Examination (IMA/OTA)
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination for filling up vacancies at the Indian Military Academy Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria:-
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination provisionally subject to the necessary certificate being given to him/her by the Govt. before declaration of result by UPSC

Age: Unmarried male-19 to 24 yrs (born between 2nd Jan- 1st Jan for Jan Course and 2nd Jul-1st Jul for Jul Course. Educational Qualification:- Degree from any stream from a recognized university or equivalent |
| Indian Naval Academy (INA) |
Age:- Unmarried male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years of age Educational Qualification:- Bachelor of Engineering |
| Air Force Academy (AFA) - |
Age:- 20 to 24 years (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 yrs). Note: Candidate below 25 years of age and must be unmarried Educational Qualification:- Degree from a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering |

Age:- Male candidates (married or unmarried), Age between 19-25 yrs Educational Qualification:- Graduation from recognized University |
| Officer Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) |
Age :- Between 19-25 yrs unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorces (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried. Educational Qualification:- Graduation from recognized University |
