The symbols in our logo are a Flame and an Open Book.

Flame. Flame or Agni is a Sanskrit word symbolising fire which connotes the vedic fire god. In classical cosmology, Agni as fire is one of five inert impermanent constituents (Dhatus) along with space (Aksha/Dyans), Water (Jal), Air (Vayu/ Varuna) and Earth (Prithvi), the five combining to form the empirically perceived materials existence (Prakriti). Agni or Flame thus is the essence of knowledge of existence & symbolises flame that ignites faith, destroys ignorance and inspires the mind.

Open Book. An open book symbolises education, knowledge and wisdom. It also symbolises "a destiny yet to be fulfilled, decision and choices yet to be made, dreams yet to be pursued and an adventure in progress". An open book represents the knowledge that we strive to provide to our students so that they continue to learn, develop and go on to realise their goals.

Colours in our Logo. The colours used in our logo are Orange and Blue. Orange lends a good balance between the passionate Red and the Yellow of wisdom. It is symbolic of endurance, creativity, success and ambition and represents fire and flame in the Sun. Blue on the other hand represents depth, sincerity, wisdom, confidence and intelligence which has a positive effect on the mind and body. Blue is also representative of both the Sky and the Sea which is associated with intuition, imagination, sincerity, wisdom confidence and intelligence.
